Cboe is one of the World’s largest Exchange operators. The Enterprise System Engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining the servers, storage, OS, and configuration of all trading environments. As a member of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with the latest hardware, build in house automation and monitoring tools, leverage Open Source projects, and make meaningful contributions to the company.

In this role you will be responsible for designing, engineering, and delivering solutions for Infrastructure and customer-based initiatives. Provide resolutions for medium to complex customer issues and requests. Develop and document processes and procedures for ongoing management of applications and Windows Servers and Back-office environments.
Additional responsibilities include:
Maintaining accurate records of PC and Server hardware and software licenses, and environment changes
Ensuring key systems are highly available and continue functioning during a disaster
Building and maintaining thorough monitoring tools that clearly show problems and minimize false positives
Participate in on-call rotation that consists of periodic daytime on-call and infrequent weekend on-call
Mentor and elevate less experienced team members
Build processes with accurate documentation and be able to cross train others
The ideal candidate has:
3-5 years of experience in an enterprise setting
Knowledge and experience troubleshooting the following technologies:
Previous experience and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Technologies - Microsoft 365, Intune, Exchange Online, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Azure AD, Modern Desktop
Very good knowledge of Windows 2016/2019/2022 Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Exchange Server, DFS, SMTP, SQL Server
Strong knowledge of Backup solutions like Netbackup or Commvault
Great knowledge of automation and configuration management systems like SCCM
Understanding of PowerShell to drive efficiencies through automation of repeatable processes
Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere
Virtual Desktop technologies including VMware Horizon or Microsoft AVD.
Understanding of Certificate management and deployment
Good analytical and team player skills
Great customer service and communication skills
