US Take Back Operations Intern (2023)

Responsibilities:

There is a list of processes and activities to be managed by the North America TBO Intern, including, but not limited to …

• Define and implement opportunities of simplification, standardization, and unification of take back vendor reporting through Power BI.
• Tracking Global Sustainability trends for 2023 and beyond: Identifying critical consumer trends that help shape future business focuses on innovation and technology in sustainability.
• Understand North America Take Back Legislative future policies and define implications to HP.
• Digital Equity / Circular Economy: Assist in onboarding the Homeboy Industries participants into the HPLIFE Program.
• Lead HP sites worldwide to engage employees in the annual HP Global Shoreline Clean Up campaign.
• Find opportunities to better communicate and promote HP’s sustainability and volunteering initiatives through social media platforms.

• Strong business acumen and technical knowledge of operations, with an understanding of emerging trends and market knowledge.
• Be highly organized and a good multi-tasker.

Education and Experience Required:

• In process of completion or having graduated from either an environmental/STEM/ business degree
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint
• Experience in Take Back or reverse operation will be highly considered
