  • The candidate will have a BS, MS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or other related engineering/science field.

Responsibilities
  • A Failure Analysis Engineer is responsible for analyzing semiconductor IC samples to determine the root cause of failure.
  • Many types of electrical, mechanical, and chemical procedures are used to accomplish this goal.
  • A qualified candidate will be working autonomously or at times within a team, to analyze design, reliability, and Customer returns down to the root cause.
  • This work will involve the use of various state-of-the-art analytical tools, processing the acquired data and information sets to arrive at a conclusion regarding the cause of failure.
  • Ensure Failure Analysis capabilities required to support advanced process technology and product development are in place.
  • Develop a formal failure analysis technical report with data and findings for distribution to both internal and external customers.
