- Experience in Tribology interface design, tribology testing, material analysis and instrument

- Design and develop HAMR media interface, investigate media design variables impact to hard drive interface, including using laser, tribology test methods working with lube and carbon engineers
- Investigate media thermal, optical, mechanical, and magnetic property impacts to media interface
- Reliability evaluation for HDD interface using best practices and methodologies.
- Investigate laser power impact to head/media interface and media variable and design window
- Work with media sputter and process to understand the process impact
- Collaborate with HDD and Head team to improve media performance
- Participate in significant technical investigations from problem statement to conclusions.
