Requirements
  • Strong tax compliance skills and experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and various entities such as partnerships, S corporations, C corporations. Experience and knowledge of foreign reporting forms such as Forms 5471, 8865, 8858, 8938, 8621, and FBARs
  • Inbound tax planning and reporting
  • Outbound tax planning including subpart F, PFICs, foreign tax credits, and cash repatriation planning
  • Tax reporting for international operations and reorganizations
  • Withholding tax rules and reporting
  • Foreign bank account reporting and FATCA
  • Tax research, writing, and analytical skills including the ability to apply tax rules to client's facts and familiarity with on-line tax research resources
  • Ability to recognize tax issues, planning opportunities, and implications of new tax laws to a variety of industries
  • Demonstrated ability to address and properly complete in a timely manner multiple, simultaneous projects originating from multiple clients
  • Must be hard working, a self-starter, performance-oriented and able to meet the demands of a diverse business environment in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills and experience in drafting technical memoranda are required. Analytical and organization skills are essential
  • Dynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to build and foster relationships are required
  • Minimum 5 years of public accounting and/or corporate tax experience
  • Strong background in tax compliance and international tax matters
  • Broad exposure to Federal and State income tax preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • Active CPA license
  • J.D. or LL.M. a plus but not required
