• Conducts and interprets surface and subsurface geological studies.
• Performs log interpretation (both cased hole and open hole) and correlation.
• Prepares and analyzes geologic maps, diagrams, and reports.
• Generates and evaluates new gas storage pool prospects, and evaluates expansion prospects based upon geologic integrity.
• Administers contracts for seismic surveys in storage fields.
• Monitors and coordinates contractors.
• Designs and develops geologic maps, analyzes formations and drill cuttings, and interprets well log data.
• Conducts geologic mapping and studies to verify reservoir limits.
• Identifies potential storage reservoirs.
• Maintains LMKR GeoGraphix, S&P Global Kingdom and Access databases, and updates geologic mapping for storage projects.
• Designs, conducts, and interprets seismic (2D - 3D) studies in reservoirs, determining placement for new wells, reservoir boundaries, and suitability for storage development.
• Monitors the outside drilling activity within and surrounding existing pools, and develops effective protocols protecting the storage pool asset integrity, in conjunction with outside drilling activity.
