Requirements
  • 10+ years of leadership experience with revenue accounting and reporting
  • CPA and in-depth knowledge of Revenue Recognition standards (ASC 606)
  • Demonstrated success in leading revenue accounting functions through rapid growth
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Extensive experience in establishing and standardizing policies, processes, procedures, and controls around revenue recognition
  • Proven experience in leading improvement of systems, processes and data automation initiatives
  • Proficiency in relevant enterprise SaaS tools
Responsibilities
  • Lead revenue accounting operations to ensure timely and accurate accounting of monthly close and reporting
  • Collaborate with Deal Desk, Sales, and legal teams to ensure proper revenue recognition via contract reviews
  • Develop and implement revenue recognition policies and procedures
  • Partner with cross-functional teams for new product launch and system/process enhancement
  • Work closely with company's external auditors to ensure approved revenue policies are consistently adhered to
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to the team on revenue cycle processes and guide a team of accounting professionals
  • Identify and recommend process improvements across various functions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in revenue recognition
