Requirements
  • 10–15+ years of experience in risk management with GRC specialization and experience as a lead architect or subject-matter expert on multi-platform engagements.
  • End-to-end cloud GRC delivery experience with MetricStream, Archer, ServiceNow IRM/Compliance, and AuditBoard, including package deployment and deep configuration.
  • Platform extension expertise in MetricStream, Archer, ServiceNow, and AuditBoard.
  • Experience integrating SIEM, vulnerability scanners such as Qualys and Tenable, CMDB/business hierarchy, regulatory feeds, ITSM/Jira, data lakes or warehouses, and IAM/LDAP/SSO.
  • Experience installing and configuring MetricStream and ServiceNow out-of-the-box packages, packaging Archer solutions, and onboarding AuditBoard.
  • Experience with LDAP/Active Directory, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, role-based access, and entitlements.
  • Technical proficiency in Java, JavaScript, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, Python, PowerShell, and SQL.
  • Experience providing Agile software development life cycle leadership and program management office-level governance, risk, and benefits tracking.
  • ServiceNow IRM, Archer, MetricStream, or AuditBoard certifications.
  • Knowledge of FAIR risk quantification, business intelligence and analytics tools such as Power BI and Tableau, and continuous control monitoring.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform and security architectures for GRC integrations.
  • Executive advisory presence, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving and solution architecture skills, including the ability to scale complex requirements.
  • Cross-functional leadership, mentoring, and consensus-building across business, risk, audit, and technology teams.
Responsibilities
  • Define enterprise GRC target architecture and solution blueprints, including data models, taxonomy, control libraries, business hierarchy, workflows, and role-based access control.
  • Lead complex use cases across enterprise and operational risk, resilience, regulatory compliance, policy, IT and cyber risk, vulnerability, third-party risk, audit, issues and remediation, business continuity, and risk analytics.
  • Perform hands-on configuration and customization across enterprise GRC technologies, including custom objects, forms, workflows, and reporting.
  • Implement end-to-end cloud solutions, including out-of-the-box package deployment, environment provisioning, and platform hardening.
  • Build APIs and data pipelines and design event-driven integrations for continuous control monitoring and real-time risk insights.
  • Lead data migration, normalization, and lineage; enable control-testing automation and risk-quantification reporting.
  • Establish Agile software development life cycle practices, program governance, RAID management, and executive dashboards.
  • Design operating models covering RACI, roles and processes, governance committees, the three-lines model, control ownership, and issue management.
  • Maintain GRC taxonomies, including risk and control libraries, policies, authority documents, obligations mapping, and evidence repositories.
  • Advise on regulations and frameworks and create compliance mappings and control rationalization.
  • Deliver administrator and end-user training, playbooks, standard operating procedures, and knowledge transfer.
  • Drive adoption through stakeholder engagement, champions, benefits tracking, and key performance indicators for risk posture, compliance maturity, and efficiency.
  • Develop accelerators, reference architectures, integration patterns, and configuration blueprints.
  • Publish thought leadership, lead demonstrations and proofs of concept, and support requests for proposals and solutioning.
  • Mentor junior staff.
  • Evaluate emerging capabilities such as artificial intelligence and machine-learning analytics, control automation, and continuous monitoring, and guide roadmaps.

KPMG and EY win $579M UK civil servants training contract despite consultancy spending pledge

The UK Government has awarded a contract worth up to £456 million to KPMG and EY to train civil servants, the Financial Times reported, citing government procurement tracker Tussell. Under the arrangement, the firms will train officials across various skills areas, including AI, between 2026 and 2028. KPMG's share is capped at £319 million, representing almost a quarter of its total UK advisory net sales from last year. EY's portion is worth £137 million, equivalent to around 13% of its UK consulting revenue. The deal is the largest single contract awarded to Big Four companies since Tussell started tracking records in 2012. The previous record was a £322 million deal between the Foreign Office and PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2012.

KPMG barred from Victoria government tenders until October over confidential document misuse

KPMG has been barred from bidding for new government contracts in Victoria, Australia, until at least October, according to the Australian Financial Review. The Big Four firm must also withdraw from current tender negotiations following misconduct involving confidential client documents. The ban stems from KPMG's admission that former chief operating officer Eileen Hoggett improperly stored and shared confidential Lendlease board papers. Victoria joins other Australian jurisdictions, including the Federal Government and several states, in blocking KPMG from tender processes until 30 September. KPMG currently holds Victorian contracts worth A$24 million and participates in broader consortia valued at A$195 million. The firm is implementing job cuts and has already reduced partner pay by 20%. John Sams recently became Australia CEO after Andrew Yates resigned in May.

KPMG becomes OpenAI Elite Partner after building AI supply chain platform for the frontier lab

KPMG has been named an OpenAI Elite Partner following a collaboration in which KPMG built an internal supply chain platform for OpenAI itself. That deployment now serves as the foundation for KPMG's enterprise AI offerings. The partnership centres on "headless" software, where employees stop navigating applications and instead describe what they want done. AI agents interpret requests, coordinate across backend systems, and execute tasks. "You're going to be talking more than you're typing," said Chad Seiler, KPMG's US industry leader for technology, media and telecommunications. The model keeps existing enterprise systems as infrastructure whilst adding an intelligent agent layer on top. KPMG maintains parallel partnerships with other frontier labs, including Anthropic. The firm has integrated OpenAI capabilities into its internal AI tool since 2023.

KPMG invests in Incentify to scale AI-powered tax credits and incentives platform globally

KPMG has made a minority equity investment in Incentify, an AI-powered credits and incentives technology provider, expanding their collaboration to help organisations identify and manage credits, grants and incentives across over 120 countries. The partnership centres on ICON (KPMG Incentive Credit Opportunity Navigator), which combines KPMG's global incentives dataset with Incentify's US incentives warehouse and AI engine. The platform uses AI to scan and assess thousands of programmes, reducing work that previously took tax teams weeks into days. ICON is embedded in KPMG Digital Gateway and provides clients with a secure view of relevant credits and incentives across federal, state, local and international jurisdictions. The investment follows KPMG's recent global alliance with Anthropic and previous minority investments in companies including Fieldguide, Ema and Rhino.AI through KPMG Ventures.
