  • Bachelor’s Degree, however, equivalent work experience will also be considered

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Industrial business group leadership and Regional Directors to develop and implement business plans for Industrial Food and Beverage Sanitary and Process Piping products
  • Conduct research and analysis of business opportunities, consistent with the organization's long range and strategic plans
  • Evaluate future geographic expansion opportunities and measure success of new market entry
  • Collaborate on execution plans for markets in alignment with our National Food and Beverage strategy
  • Planning and preparation of business proposals and make recommendations to senior management
  • Work closely with Ferguson’s National Accounts and local Industrial Sales Manager and Outside Sales teams to assist in driving growth
  • Act as liaison between Category Management and the branches / field
  • Partner with Category Management to evaluate and select vendors, expand current offerings and continuously evaluate channel options
  • Lead all aspects of the development of key projects and is accountable for the successful closure of business deals
  • Responsible for the overall development, implementation and progress of strategic business targets
  • Develop new processes to meet project needs, and for designing projects to suit the financial and operating criteria of a project
  • Prepare documents and materials (for example, reports, presentations, information packages) for meetings and discussions with potential clients and business partners so that the information provided is accurate and appropriate for external distribution
  • Maintain contact with the key decision makers internally and externally
  • May assist with special analysis in areas such as operational efficiency, market penetration and profitability
Desired Qualifications
  • 3-5 years’ of business development experience is preferred, Industrial Food & Beverage distribution and sales industry experience in Sanitary & Pipe, Valves & Fittings products is strongly preferred

Rebuilding Together partners with Ferguson to expand impact and deliver critical home repairs where they're needed most. After completing eight home projects across six markets, the partnership now brings safer, healthier housing to the Hampton Roads community. WASHINGTON, DC, Jan. 12, 2026 - Rebuilding Together, the leading national nonprofit organization dedicated to repairing homes and revitalizing communities, is expanding its nationwide reach through its long-standing corporate partnership with Ferguson. Together, Rebuilding Together and Ferguson have supported home repair projects in six markets over the past year, and are now extending their reach in Virginia through Rebuilding Together of Hampton Roads. With Natasha Stewart recently appointed as executive director, Rebuilding Together of Hampton Roads is well-positioned to deepen its impact in a region where safe, healthy housing is needed most. More than 510,000 households in the Hampton Roads region spend more than 30% of their income on housing, and half of the homes were built before 1980. Aging infrastructure, coastal flooding, and accessibility needs for veterans and older adults leave many families living in unsafe conditions. To address these challenges, the affiliate has already begun providing repairs to homeowners in need. Take Amber for example, a single mom of three, whose heating and cooling system failed just before winter. With one child battling severe asthma and another living with autism, the broken system was more than an inconvenience; it was a health crisis. Volunteers and contractors rallied to restore the HVAC system, replace damaged doors, patch a hole in the roof, and weatherize windows. Today, her family is safe, warm, and healthy. "We're honored to serve this community and address critical repair needs that have gone unmet for far too long," said Natasha Stewart, executive director of Rebuilding Together of Hampton Roads.
