Boccard designs, builds, and maintains industrial plants across energy and life sciences, handling engineering, fabrication, construction, and aftercare as a single package. Its work includes nuclear, oil and gas, power, steel and mining projects, plus brewery, food, cosmetics, pharma, and biotech facilities, with products like stainless steel tanks, bioreactors, mixers, and modular skids. It uses digital tools such as 3D laser scanning and its BocTrack system to manage prefab and project data, supporting lifecycle asset management and total cost of ownership (TCO). The company differentiates itself with a long family-led history since 1918, global expansion, deep sector expertise, and integrated EPC services designed to optimize cost over the plant's life and across international projects.

What believers are saying

  • July 2026 Sizewell C win validates Boccard's nuclear position and long-term backlog.
  • 2026 pharma and biotech project launches show demand beyond traditional industrial markets.
  • Track Advance and 3D scanning support higher-margin digital services and recurring maintenance work.

What critics are saying

  • Sizewell C delays can defer revenue and strain project execution through 2030.
  • Large EPC contracts expose Boccard to cost overruns, claims, and margin compression.
  • If nuclear and life-sciences orders slow, family-owned scale limits resilience versus larger competitors.

What makes BOCCARD unique

  • Boccard spans engineering, fabrication, construction, and maintenance across one turnkey delivery chain.
  • Its nuclear credibility deepened with a four-year Sizewell C contract in July 2026.
  • LLT acquisition in 2024 added renewable thermal plants and boiler manufacturing expertise.
