Requirements
  • Associate's degree or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field
  • Proven experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and coordination, preferably in a food manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software (CMMS), enterprise asset management (EAM) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, practices, and techniques, including preventive maintenance, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), and predictive maintenance technologies
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and HACCP principles
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team to achieve maintenance objectives and support production goals
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager, maintenance supervisors, and production teams to develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule that ensures minimal disruption to production operations
  • Utilize maintenance management software (CMMS) to create and prioritize work orders, schedule preventive maintenance tasks, and track equipment history, downtime, and maintenance costs
  • Plan and organize preventive maintenance activities, including equipment inspections, lubrication, calibration, and parts replacement, to maintain equipment reliability and prolong asset life
  • Coordinate with maintenance technicians and external vendors to schedule and execute repairs, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance activities in a timely manner to minimize production downtime
  • Monitor spare parts inventory levels, identify critical spare parts, and procure parts and materials necessary for maintenance activities to ensure availability and minimize equipment downtime
  • Develop and maintain equipment maintenance plans, job plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to guide maintenance activities and ensure consistency and compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs, reliability issues, and opportunities for improvement, and develop action plans to address findings
  • Provide technical support and expertise to maintenance technicians and other departments on maintenance-related issues, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of equipment failures
  • Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization, and recommend and implement process improvements to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and other departments to identify and implement equipment upgrades, modifications, and enhancements to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance
