SUMMARY
The senior human resource business partner is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations investigations and counseling, benefits administration and counseling, team member and leadership training programs, ongoing leadership and team member performance management and coaching, onboarding and offboarding procedures, policy proposal and implementation, recruitment and employment support as needed, affirmative action, and employment law compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrates a deep understanding of designated business areas in order to support strategic planning, process implementation, recruiting, and all team members programs and efforts to build an effective workforce.
• Serves as a credible process leader to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, morale; and training and development.
• Designs and conducts employee relations investigations, interventions, and coaching across all levels of the organization and with the strictest compliance to legal and ethical standards.
• Maintains employee confidence by keeping human resource information confidential
• Administration and counseling of team members for FMLA; Annual Open Enrollment administration; team member engagement activities; and 401k administration.
• Conducts exit interviews with departing employees and identify common turnover factors
• Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for special projects as identified including strategic planning; research; implementation; and training to advance the business.
• Serves as a second-level escalation point for other HR team members for handling employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
• Inputs HR information accurately into the system, and other HRIS systems/databases as applicable.
• Support recruiting, interviews, onboarding and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions as needed.
• Performs other duties or special projects as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Perform a variety duties and activities of a general and specialized nature in support of the Human Resources Department.
• Provide technical human resources management services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and strictly confidential.
• Individual must be able to multi-task in a fast paced, team focused, work environment.
• Exercise good judgment and maintaining critical and sensitive information, records, and reports and operate with the highest confidentiality and ethical standards.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Or seven to ten years’ human resource experience; a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and five years’ experience in the HR field; or ten years of experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of human resources functions and procedures.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
• Excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, and ability to interact effectively with management and employees.
• Spanish speaking required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
