Requirements
  • Seasoned Mechanical Engineering experience
  • Experience with thermal, applied fluids, fluids handling, heat exchange experience
  • CAD knowledge is a must, we use Solidworks
  • Familiar with GD&T, familiar with basic fabrication techniques
  • Familiarity with electromechanical systems
  • Hands-on experience
  • Ability to communicate priorities and work cross functionally
  • An excitement for scaling up hardware that has the potential to positively impact climate change!
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a senior engineering resource on the SF Pyrolysis team
  • Responsible for designing pieces of the scaled up pyrolyzer
  • Contribute to testing the condensing system on site in San Francisco
  • Design, build, and test mockups of pieces of the scaled condenser
  • Interface cross-functionally with fabrication and electronics resources
  • Help deliver a scaled design of the pyrolyzer condensing system to a contract manufacturer
  • Play an active role in shaping the scaling roadmap of the pyrolysis technology
