Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in the field of Information Management, Business Management, Communications, or equivalent experience
- Experience: 1-3 years of professional experience in business analysis, information technology, production support, data analysis or other related fields
- Good communication and technical writing skills: ability to learn technical concepts, derive business context, and can clearly present and articulate key elements
- Basic level understanding of business analytics technology, master data management, data warehousing/ETL processes, and design principles
- Familiarity with solving technical issues
- Ability to describe and document how information flows through a sophisticated organization, how it is collected, transformed, and analyzed in reporting
- Ability to constructively challenge existing practices and propose solutions that improve processes or create efficiencies
- Shown commitment to customer service; anticipates and goes above and beyond by solving problems efficiently and making customer issues a priority
- Work in collaboration with multi-functional teams including business analytics, digital innovation, product line management, product development, architecture, and others
- You have a pragmatic with a propensity to ask WHY and HOW
- Explains moderately sophisticated information to others in straightforward situations

- Experience in data analysis role performing data exploration, data classification, data validation, quality assurance, data visualization, etc
- Experience building training materials, instructional documentation, or building standard operating procedures
- Experience with data manipulation and/or using APIs through programming languages such as Python, R, or Java
- Exposure to Data Catalogs, or Data Governance tools (such as Alation, Collibra, Atlan, Informatica, etc.)
- Experience with technical writing, release notes, training materials or other internal communications
- Experience working with relational database systems, and proficiency with SQL
- Experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, WEBi
- Experience with agile methodology and experience with associated planning like Jira and Confluence
Responsibilities
- Assist with the ongoing curation, administration, and promotion of Crocs Data Catalog:
- Curation of data definitions, policies, key performance indicators, and other related metadata
- Ensure relevant documentation is created in a timely manner, in sync with technical specification development, software development, or data lifecycles
- Creation of approval, communication, and other misc. workflows
- Classification and categorization of data for alignment to data policies
- Providing technical support to ensure capacities of the data catalog are readily used
- Facilitate certification of published reports and analysis
- Develop, maintain, or enhance Data Quality reporting within PowerBI
- Identifies process improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with partners to ensure that data governance work is produced in tandem with their efforts, and advise on methods that keep results consistent at a global scale
- Own ongoing communications and creation of release notes for the Business Analytics community
- Identify weaknesses in existing data entry processes, misapplications of data or business terminology, or gaps in data understanding and work with partners to identify, propose, and implement solutions
- Creation of documentation templates and technical solutions that drive efficiency and ease of use
- Assist with internal marketing, including development of promotional materials/communications, driving participation in respective committee(s), facilitation of training and onboarding sessions, among other activities
- Keep up to date with new data catalog features and evolving data catalog practices
