A career in SaaS Consultation at Vendr provides you the opportunity to develop some of the best negotiation skills combined with uniquely deep SaaS category insights. As part of Vendr, you’ll assist in developing our standard practices and SaaS Management infrastructure, helping Vendr forever change how SaaS is bought and sold. As part of our team, you will be responsible for managing relationships for both buyers and suppliers to aid in the desired outcomes of our buyers. We serve as the SaaS Consultant for both the SaaS buyer and SaaS suppliers by seeking appropriate solutions for all sourcing needs, creating, reviewing, and negotiating contractual arrangements through thought leadership, subject matter specialization, and strategic advising.]

What you’ll do:
- Exceed customer’s Desired Outcomes
- Ensure your team has the right skill/will, processes, and tool to maximize their outputs
- Hire, train, and develop the best future leaders and ICs for the post sales organization
- Drive the execution of the post-sales strategy
- Maintain a high-performing culture
- Improve team output and efficiency over time by finding better ways to use systems and processes to service customers
- Represent the team cross-functionally with leaders of other departments and ensure you influence those teams to deliver the support needed
- Oversee the activities and performance management of these teams to ensure key performance metrics are met
- Provide daily 1:1 mentoring and coaching for front line SaaS Consultants to drive excellence
- Coach others, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development
- Analyze complex purchasing scenarios and/or proposals to build a range of meaningful recommendations
- Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet client’s expectations
- Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making
- Act as a deal specific escalation contact within the organization
What we need:
- Success in fast-paced, results-oriented GTM environments, with robust knowledge of SaaS space
- 3+ years of experience building and leading high-performing sales or account management teams with a proven track record of exceeding goal
- Track record of negotiating, structuring and executing complex sales agreements in the SaaS Consulting role, acting as a mentor to colleagues within the function
- Ability to use data to make decisions
- Strong collaboration and high EQ - self-awareness and empathy demonstrated through superior communication and presentation skills
- Excitement for recruiting and a thoughtful approach to team planning and development
- Strong ability to articulate contractual, technical, and financial value points to customers, especially executive leaders
- Proven ability driving process improvements by leveraging strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in data-analytics tools like Salesforce and Excel
- You are known for your tremendous work ethic, service leadership, and commitment
