Requirements
- Four-year college degree in Computer Science or related field, or similar, relevant technical experience
- 2-3 years of professional development experience preferred
- Object-oriented programming experience, preferably .NET (C#)
- Familiarity with full stack web development concepts in .NET Core also preferred
- HTML, CSS and Javascript experience
- Experience in SQL and normalized database design
- Familiarity with Git and merge/conflict resolution concepts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability and willingness to seek out information and answers to move past hurdles
- Strong mathematics, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong visual/spatial thinking skills and ability to work with complex geometry
Responsibilities
- As an Associate Developer, you will be joining a tight-knit team of 3 developers looking to add a fourth. SGH overall is approx. 600 engineers in offices across the United States. You would be working on multiple projects for different offices on both frontend and backend features, as well as perform testing of multiple applications. Overall we develop custom solutions for projects related to the firm's engineering work for the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. As we are an engineering firm related to the built environment, an interest in the architecture/engineering/construction (AEC) industry and physical geometry will be a positive
