Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in a sales environment with commission and/or targets. You can speak to them, and can speak to how you were successful.
  • To drive urgency and excitement. You will be required to sell in a dynamic environment with a fairly short sales cycle. You should be energized by high volume and the prospect of uncapped earning potential!
  • To be driven, tenacious and disciplined. You won’t win over every prospect, and there will be many highs and lows. It’s about how you balance those ups and downs and bring the best of what you have to the job daily.
  • To find solutions. If something isn’t going right, you’ll take care of it. Not every conversation will be the same, and you're quick at thinking on your feet.
  • To be data driven. Being able to source, interpret and create a narrative based on data will be key for your own success as well as the small businesses you’re supporting.
  • To be coachable and adaptable. The sales team is always changing and evolving, so being flexible and good with change and ambiguity is important.
  • To enjoy technology. We're working hard to empower the world with mobile technology and are looking for someone who wants to share their excitement.
  • To have a clear and confident communication style. You should have the ability to actively listen and consult with our customers and get a true understanding of who they are and what they need. This position involves a good deal of phone time, so these skills are imperative.
  • Previous experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, preferably SalesForce.
Responsibilities
  • Own the full sales process from prospecting to closing
  • Drive connection with potential customers through phone, email, and sms outreach to create new opportunities
  • Leverage strong communication and active listening skills to build rapport, trust, and a deep understanding of the small businesses we work with.
  • Be a trusted advisor and product expert and leverage that knowledge to provide recommendations on how to best utilize Jobber, from specific workflows to feature fits.
  • Demonstrate the value of Jobber through conversation, social proof and product demonstrations
  • Track key information in Salesforce for follow-up, knowledge sharing, and analytics
