Requirements
  • 8 to 10 years of hands-on SAP Basis experience supporting ECC and/or S/4HANA systems.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP system administration, transport management, and database management (HANA, Oracle, or MS SQL).
  • Experience with system sizing, performance tuning, memory utilization, and archiving.
  • Understanding of SAP landscapes, client strategy, and integration points.
  • Knowledge of ITIL service management processes (incident, change, problem).
  • Experience in system refresh, backup/restore, and troubleshooting across environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional global teams.
Responsibilities
  • System Administration & Operations: Perform daily monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems.
  • System Administration & Operations: Ensure system uptime, stability, and performance in coordination with AMS, Infrastructure partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • System Administration & Operations: Manage system installations, upgrades, migrations, and patching activities.
  • System Administration & Operations: Implement and manage backup, restore, and archiving strategies for SAP systems.
  • Performance Optimization & Capacity Management: Conduct system sizing, capacity planning, and memory optimization for ECC and HANA environments.
  • Performance Optimization & Capacity Management: Monitor database growth, system utilization, and performance trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Performance Optimization & Capacity Management: Apply best practices in performance tuning, parameter optimization, and proactive resource management.
  • Security, Compliance & Reliability: Implement and maintain SAP security settings in alignment with corporate IT standards.
  • Security, Compliance & Reliability: Support audit and compliance activities by ensuring appropriate system configuration and documentation.
  • Security, Compliance & Reliability: Collaborate with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure teams to maintain secure, compliant, and resilient systems.
  • S/4HANA Transformation & Continuous Improvement: Support the transition from ECC to S/4HANA by validating system readiness, sizing, and technical compatibility.
  • S/4HANA Transformation & Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
  • S/4HANA Transformation & Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, patches, and best practices to ensure systems are future-ready.
  • Collaboration & Governance: Work closely with Service Owners, Product Owners, AMS, and Infrastructure partners to align operational priorities, SLAs, and ensure integrated delivery across the SAP landscape.
  • Collaboration & Governance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams across various ECC domains and systems to ensure seamless coordination and issue resolution.
  • Collaboration & Governance: Lead RCA and resolution efforts for infrastructure-related incidents, ensuring timely closure and preventive measures.
  • Collaboration & Governance: Provide technical expertise during project planning, go-live activities, and post-implementation support.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering.
  • Experience in managing hybrid cloud SAP environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Exposure to Solution Manager, CHARM, and monitoring tools (e.g., SAP Focused Run, EarlyWatch).
  • SAP certification in Basis or HANA administration.
  • Experience with automation tools for system monitoring and performance optimization.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent service management knowledge

Signify repurchases 127K shares for $2.8M in share buyback programme

Signify, the world leader in lighting, repurchased 126,776 shares between 23 and 27 February 2026 at an average price of €20.11 per share, totalling €2.5 million. The buyback forms part of a programme announced on 13 February 2026. The company will use the shares to cover obligations from its long-term incentive performance share plan and other employee share schemes. To date, Signify has repurchased 266,276 shares under this programme for a total consideration of €5.3 million. Signify, listed on Euronext as LIGHT, reported sales of €5.8 billion in 2025 and employs approximately 27,000 people across over 70 markets.
