  • Previous certification in the regulatory topics including Combustible Dust, Accident Prevention, First Aid/CPR/AED and Bloodborne Pathogens, Confined Space, Lockout, Electrical Safety, Emergency Response, Fire Prevention, Hazard Communication, Material Handling, Hearing Conservation, OSHA Recordkeeping, Personal Protective Equipment, Power Tool Use and Guarding, Respiratory Protection, Crane/Hoist/Rigging Safety, Welding/Hot Work, Incident Investigation, Working from Heights, Working and Walking Surfaces.
Responsibilities
  • Identify workplace hazards and work with plant staff to mitigate/abate these hazards
  • Work closely with Plant Manager to understand company needs and mission
  • Work closely with Plant team and corporate resources to continuously improve EH&S programs
  • Provide safety training to all employees, contractors, and vendors as required
  • Lead Safety Committee meetings
  • Perform EH&S compliance audits/assessments of facility and contractor work activities
  • Effectively communicate with contractor teams to create a documented safe work plan
  • Provide prompt documentation of assessment findings, observations, and recommendations
  • Conduct investigations of Health & Safety incidents to include root cause analysis
  • Implement safe work practices and behaviors to achieve ZERO incidents/accidents (TIR)
  • Ensure employees’, contractors’, and vendors’ work practices are in regulatory compliance with applicable regulatory agencies, as well as with company standards and policies.

Enviva Receives Nyse Notice Regarding Delayed Form 10-K Filing

BETHESDA, Md., April 8, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Enviva Inc. (NYSE: EVA) ("Enviva" or the "Company") today announced that on April 2, 2024, the Company received notice from the New York Stock Exchange (the "NYSE") that it is not in compliance with Section 802.01E of the NYSE Listed Company Manual due to a delay in filing its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2023, with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC").The NYSE Notice has no immediate effect on the listing of the Company's common stock on the NYSE. The NYSE informed the Company that, under the NYSE's rules, the Company will have six months from April 1, 2024 to file the Form 10-K with the SEC. The Company can regain compliance with the NYSE listing standards by filing the Form 10-K with the SEC before such date. BETHESDA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Enviva Inc. (NYSE: EVA) (“Enviva” or the “Company”), a leading producer of sustainably sourced wood-based biomass, today announced that the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia (the “Court”) approved, among other matters, its previously announced $500 million debtor-in-possession financing (the “DIP Facility”) pursuant to the Debtor-in-Possession Credit and Note Purchase Agreement (the “DIP Facility Agreement”) and the procedures and related materials that will govern the syndication of the DIP Facility. Pursuant to the DIP Facility Agreement, the Company intends to offer certain holders of shares of the Company’s Common Stock, par value $0.001 (CUSIP 29415B103) (the “Common Stock”) as of March 11, 2024 (the “Record Date” and such holders, the “Holders”) the opportunity (the “Opportunity”) to subscribe to participate in the syndication of the DIP Facility.
