  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
  • Professional Traffic Operations Engineering Registration in TX or through reciprocity from other State
  • Experience working on DOT Projects
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in traffic engineering
  • A track record of adhering to project budgets and project schedules
  • Must be proficient in roadway design principles including DOT design standards and AASHTO design manual
Responsibilities
  • Perform design calculations, and assist with design development
  • Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships to pay items
  • Develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner
  • Perform tasks on schedule and within budget as assigned
  • Work independently under the guidance of a Project Manager
