Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 6 years of experience in Risk Management, Project Management, or Process Management
Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end NPMIG process, including supporting and guiding a team of facilitators that handle initial consultations and intake all the way through obtaining Accountable Executive signoff on finalized assessments
  • Drive and manage the ongoing strategy of the Enterprise NPMIG lane, including education/awareness training, process improvements, and the successful deployment of NPMIG 3.0, the next generation of the NPMIG process
  • Maintain and enhance governance and reporting processes, ensuring that the overall processes are conducted in a manner that aligns with the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) NPMIG Standard, while also ensuring that reporting is accurate, timely and produces value-add information to relevant stakeholders
  • Lead and coordinate with Enterprise Risk Management and stakeholders on new or changing requirements to the NPMIG program, enhancements to NPMIG 3.0, and process improvements
  • Help to streamline and improve the degree of integration of assessment processes across Capital One by providing thought leadership, oversight and coordination with other risk management activities across the company
  • Identification, training, and onboarding of new stakeholders to the NPMIG process, including Risk and Impact Advisors (RIAs), Intent Requestors, and Accountable Executives
  • Drive the Agile program delivery, including project and process management, monitoring of the initiative pipeline, reporting, engagement in senior leadership meetings, drafting and reviewing materials for senior management and the Board of directors, and other governance activities
  • Support the governance and ongoing enhancement of the Material Technology and Cyber Change (MTC) program, which identifies, assesses, mitigates, and monitors material technology and cyber change initiatives across the organization
  • Participate in risk and other management forums and contribute to continuous improvement of risk and project / program management practices
  • Analyze information to proactively identify risks, trends, and process improvements; supporting reporting on risk topics to management
  • Support direction, manage expectations, and may support/lead cross-functional teams through various initiatives, including oversight of third party resources
  • Support interactions with Internal Audit and Regulatory agencies related to our work, as applicable
  • Participate in and execute other special projects for the team on a periodic basis
