HPE and Nvidia expand AI infrastructure partnership to take on Super Micro and Dell

Hewlett Packard Enterprise and NVIDIA have expanded their partnership to deliver integrated AI infrastructure combining hardware, software, and cloud management. The collaboration centres on HPE AI Factory with NVIDIA, a turnkey solution merging HPE's compute, storage, and networking with NVIDIA's GPUs, CPUs, and AI Enterprise software. The companies jointly developed HPE Private Cloud AI for secure deployment of generative and agentic AI applications in on-premises or hybrid environments. HPE is launching AI-optimised servers, including the ProLiant Compute DL394 Gen12 powered by NVIDIA's Vera CPU. HPE faces competition from Super Micro Computer and Dell Technologies, which also partner with NVIDIA. Super Micro Computer's modular Building Block architecture and over 3,200 research and development engineers enable rapid product customisation and faster time-to-market for AI deployments.

Rigetti to deliver 9-qubit system for $5M NSF-funded hybrid quantum-classical supercomputer testbed

Rigetti Computing will supply a 9-qubit Novera quantum computing system to Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center's new TangleLab testbed, funded by a $5 million National Science Foundation grant. The project expands Rigetti's collaboration with HPE to develop quantum-enabled high-performance computing systems. The testbed will integrate the quantum system with classical HPC infrastructure. PSC will allocate access through a competitive proposal process, supporting both dedicated research and educational purposes. Rigetti CEO Dr Subodh Kulkarni emphasised the system's fast gate speeds, characteristic of superconducting quantum systems. HPE's role involves unifying quantum processors with HPC, AI, and advanced networking technologies. PSC will provide onboarding, training, and research consulting to help users operate the hybrid quantum-classical system.

GTT and HPE expand partnership to deliver single-vendor SASE solution targeting 85% of $21B market by 2030

GTT Communications has expanded its global partnership with HPE to enhance its managed services portfolio for enterprise networking. The collaboration combines GTT's Envision platform with managed LAN/WLAN solutions delivered via HPE Aruba Central, enabling enterprises to connect users, devices and applications securely across diverse environments. The partnership, which has existed for over a decade, now includes HPE Networking SSE. This allows GTT to offer a fully managed, single-vendor SASE solution built on its Tier 1 global network, integrating HPE's SD-WAN and cloud security into a zero trust architecture. According to Dell'Oro Group, single-vendor SASE is projected to represent 85% of a $21 billion market by 2030. GTT Secure Connect with HPE SSE is now available, whilst the expanded LAN/WLAN portfolio is expected later this year.

HPE targets 25% growth with AI push as Coupang struggles with 29% gross margins

StockStory has identified two large-cap stocks with growth potential and one to avoid. The firm recommends selling Coupang, South Korea's e-commerce giant often called the "Amazon of South Korea". StockStory cites concerns about Coupang's 29% gross margin, declining earnings per share despite revenue growth, and weak free cash flow generation. The firm highlights Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a stock to watch, noting its 50.7% average ARR growth over two years and revenue of $38.79 billion. HPE's sales outlook projects 25.4% growth over the next 12 months. S&P Global also made the watch list, with the credit ratings and market intelligence provider posting 11.1% annual revenue growth over five years and 17% earnings per share growth over two years, outperforming its revenue gains through share buybacks.
