Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, in lieu of degree relevant year of experience will be considered
  • 3+ years of experience in internal communications, public relations, or a related field
  • Ability to travel to Springfield, MO approximately 1-2 times monthly with flexibility
  • Ability to travel 30-40% for company onboarding, team meetings and other business needs
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely
  • Proficiency in communication tools such as Microsoft Office, Staffbase, Canva, and intranet systems
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to build relationships across departments and with external partners
  • Comfortable with the flexibility of working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities
Responsibilities
  • Draft, edit, and distribute a variety of internal communications including newsletters, announcements, intranet, and campaigns
  • Develop a strong pulse for sentiment among Egg Central Station (ECS) crew members and how day-to-day work relates to Vital Farms’ strategy to proactively identify and address gaps
  • Collaborate with the Egg Central Station (ECS) leadership team to deliver updates in a clear, consistent, and compelling manner
  • Partner with internal stakeholders such as Inclusion & Belonging, Crew Engagement and People teams to align communications with company-wide initiatives
  • Assist in monitoring the effectiveness of internal communication efforts through surveys, feedback, and engagement metrics
  • Contribute ideas to improve communication strategies based on data and insights
  • Flex across multi-stakeholder comms needs where necessary
