- A high school diploma is required.
- The ability to communicate effectively with management, associates, residents, family members, and outside contacts is required.

- Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with planning, coordinating, and running community activities.
- Assist with planning the monthly activities calendar and newsletter when necessary.
- Encourage residents to participate in activities and assist them in attending while supporting their independence.
- Order supplies and equipment for regular activities.
- Attend off-site outings when required and help track residents to ensure meaningful and safe trips.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Life Enrichment.
- Maintain the Activity Participation Tracking Chart when applicable.
- Assist with the community Parallel Programming schedule.
- Protect residents' privacy when interacting with residents and family members.
- Safely drive residents to and from activities when needed.
- Lead by example and exhibit the company's CORE Values through servant leadership.
- Encourage teamwork and promote the company philosophy.
- Attend required community meetings.
- Become familiar with reporting a missing person using the Safe Return program or equivalent when applicable.
- A background in art, music, drama, or occupational therapy is preferred.
- One year of experience in a social or recreational program in a licensed health care setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of Alzheimer's dementia is preferred.
