Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field combined with substantial (5+ years), high-level, relevant industry experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of three years of combined relevant teaching or professional experience is required.
  • Applicants must demonstrate the ability to engage and support a diverse student body.
  • Applicants must maintain valid work authorization in the United States throughout the entire appointment without university visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
  • Teach graduate-level courses within the Finance discipline and potentially related quantitative or economic areas, covering topics such as corporate finance, investments, financial institutions, risk management, financial modeling, derivatives, or other advanced finance subjects.
  • Instruct courses primarily within Master's degree and Graduate Certificate programs, focusing on advanced theories, practices, and applications suitable for experienced professionals and graduate students.
  • Engage students in rigorous academic discussions, case studies, research, and the practical application of advanced financial concepts.
  • Maintain course materials, provide timely feedback, and hold office hours as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • A terminal degree (PhD or DBA) in Finance or a closely related field is strongly preferred.
  • Significant professional experience in finance roles directly related to potential course topics is highly valued.
  • Relevant professional certifications or licensures, including CFA, FRM, CFP, or CPA, are advantageous.
  • Prior teaching experience at the graduate level is strongly preferred; experience teaching advanced undergraduate courses or extensive professional training or mentoring experience will also be considered.
  • Experience with online or hybrid teaching modalities is desirable.
