Sonnedix has secured $1.3 billion to refinance its gigawatt-scale solar and wind farm portfolio in Chile and fund new battery storage assets, the renewable energy developer announced on Thursday. The financing will support the company's existing operations whilst enabling expansion into battery storage technology in the Chilean market.
Dell is raising $5 billion through an investment-grade bond sale, attracting approximately $23 billion in investor orders at peak demand — nearly five times the offering size. The company, initially targeting $4 billion, is issuing bonds across four tranches with maturities from three to 10 years. Proceeds will repay notes maturing this year, including $2.3 billion due in October, and fund general corporate purposes. The sale reflects strong investor confidence in Dell's AI server business, which has driven the company's stock to quadruple this year. Dell recently increased its fiscal-year sales forecast by $25 billion, securing contracts for machines featuring Nvidia AI chips and traditional servers. Eight banks are managing the offering, part of 16 US investment-grade deals this week.
