Requirements
  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) credential.
  • Ability to work approximately 24 hours per week, with possible work until 6 PM on Tuesday evenings.
  • Ability to travel to an off-site location in Oconomowoc if required.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain quality customer service in a busy clinic environment.
  • Respond to incoming calls using a multi-line phone system.
  • Prescreen clients for program eligibility.
  • Establish new clients in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) database.
  • Schedule clients for the correct appointment based on program regulations.
  • Verify that accurate documentation is received and conduct data entry for clients enrolling in the WIC program.
  • Review paper files for form accuracy.
  • Review electronic records for data-entry accuracy.
  • File and pull charts to meet clinic needs.
  • Ensure the accuracy of WIC benefit issuance to enrolled families.
  • Communicate tactfully with clients to ensure their understanding of program benefits, procedures, and protocols.
  • Respond to incoming electronic communications.
  • Maintain effective, professional, and respectful working relationships internally and with the public.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
