Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the design and development of mechanical systems for battery energy storage systems, specifically lithium iron phosphate technology.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials science, and thermal management.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., FEA, CFD).
  • Experience with prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
Responsibilities
  • Design mechanical components and systems for LFP battery energy storage systems (BESS)
  • Develop and validate mechanical designs through simulations, prototyping, and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical and thermal management systems.
  • Conduct performance analysis and optimization of mechanical systems to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate mechanical designs and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Analyze test data and implement design improvements based on results.
  • Manage mechanical engineering projects from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to source materials and components.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
