Requirements
  • 5-8+ years relevant experience
  • Required skills include project management, quantitative aptitude, and the ability to effectively synthesize and communicate complex business issues through concise presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical capability, high-standards and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills to oversee cross disciplinary work streams.
  • Review all information and documentation ensuring compliance with Citi standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis by identifying and analyzing areas of comment defects/issues/themes.
  • Extensive project management and strategic analysis experience.
  • Interest and experience in the financial services industry, in particular in the areas of Credit Risk Management and Controls.
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, Masters degree preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Working with stakeholders and technology partners to design solutions and improve existing IT systems including data collection, data management, and decisioning systems;
  • Querying large amounts of data using SQL scripting and transforming raw data into actionable management information;
  • Using SAS, SAS DATA step, SAS SQL, MACROS, and RDBMS tools including Teradata to develop comprehensive risk dashboards showcasing risk control performance and risk exposure;
  • Developing control enhancements and automation of strategies, reporting, and other repetitive processes using job scheduling tools including Autosys, and Unix platform;
  • Providing senior management with business insights of process performance using an understanding of the consumer lending operational processes and complex risk measurements including delinquencies and charge offs; and
  • Providing analytical support using SAS programming and Unix shell scripting to various risk management initiatives by understanding their requirements, addressing urgent queries, and delivering actionable insights promptly.
