Requirements
  • Must be a Dialysis RN with a minimum of 1 year of recent dialysis experience
  • Must be proficient in the management of hemodialysis treatments, including proper care and management of hemodialysis accesses
  • Must have up to date BCLS/ACLS certification through the American Heart Association, as required by credentialing
  • Must be able to commit to launch assignments of up to 12 weeks
  • Must be able to work a varied work schedule, including weekend coverage when required
  • Prior technical or clinical training experience or training equivalence required
  • Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to proactively manage time and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to travel frequently
  • Proof of BLS
Responsibilities
  • Become a Tablo expert and support the development of Tablo programs in the assigned account
  • Report to the Outset Nurse Supervisor during a launch
  • Perform dialysis patient treatments utilizing Tablo
  • Precept newly hired (customer) dialysis nurses by providing training and education on the Tablo dialysis device, additional education on topics such as prescribing, troubleshooting, emergency management, maintenance and disinfection and advanced training
  • Precept newly hired non-dialysis nurses by providing training and education on performing and managing patient dialysis treatments, including didactic education through Outset Dialysis 101 and completing the Outset Vascular Access Training Program
  • Responsible for managing administrative tasks; reporting of training information and dialysis treatments in the customer's EMR system
  • Demonstrates verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs and relevant applications
  • Comply with all Outset Medical communication and procedural requirements as defined by the Outset Nurse Supervisor
  • Comply with daily assignment and oversight by customer supervisor including On-Call responsibilities as scheduled
  • When not on an assignment, provide Tablo dialysis treatment training and support at assigned location, as necessary
  • Support additional activities, as assigned
