Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, planning, or optimization, ideally within a digital, e-commerce, or sports betting environment
  • Strong expertise in workflow optimization and project management, with a track record of structuring efficient, scalable content planning processes
  • Proven experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks is a must
  • Strong background in leveraging data and analytics to drive content strategies
  • Familiarity with key metrics (e.g., engagement, retention, conversion) and experience working with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, PowerBI)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex insights clearly and concisely a must
  • Previous experience working within a Product org is a huge plus
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint is a plus
  • Previous CMS experience is a huge plus
  • Strong multi-tasker comfortable working on multiple projects at once
  • Ability to work autonomously on assignments and manage time to meet deadlines
  • Good problem-solving ability and strategic thinking
  • Superb organizational, operational, teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong knowledge of all U.S. Sports including but not limited to NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAAF, and NCAAB preferred
  • Basic knowledge of sports betting industry is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Optimize existing daily and seasonal content planning process, ensuring the team operates efficiently with well-defined guidelines and timelines for deliverable and can clearly articulate the 'what' and the 'why' behind decisions
  • Evolve existing planning notebook with the Content Operations team, ensuring daily content plans are developed well in advance, with flexibility for real-time adjustments based on changing priorities.
  • Enhance existing go-to-market planning process for new features with a focus on: Extending planning timelines and creating clarity around deliverables at each stage, How and when the feature will be leveraged at launch, Integrating the new feature into existing content cycles, such as daily or event-based content plans, Ensuring the strategy aligns with existing team KPIs
  • Coach Content Strategy team in creating and executing testing roadmaps that measure the effectiveness of different content configurations and new features, focusing on strong hypotheses and KPIs that drive impactful customer outcomes.
  • Improve existing testing workflow to allow for rapid iteration, where test results can be analyzed, acted upon, and scaled more quickly.
  • Ensure alignment between Content Strategy and BI teams, defining clear metrics for success and ensuring that data collection and analysis processes are optimized for each test.
  • Identify trends, analyze results from tests, and translate findings into actionable content strategies for Operations team.
  • Build and provide regular reports to key stakeholders on content performance, delivering clear and concise insights and plans to build on learnings.
  • Standardize the process for testing documentation, ensuring that every test is well-documented and learnings are easily accessible for future use.
  • Manage and develop Content Strategists, ensuring they have clear goals, expectations, and opportunities for growth.
  • Implement training programs to upskill team around best practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing team structure and drive efficiencies in team delivery
  • Partner with BI teams to ensure data is performing as expected and being leveraged effectively to drive content decisions.
  • Work closely with Product and UX teams to amplify strategic focus within the product development lifecycle for Content-specific features and ensure development is aimed at impact.
  • Work closely with Product leads and assist in formulating a logical personalization strategy.
