Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Direct the efficient and cost-effective operation of warehousing facilities.
  • Manage inbound activities related to the receipt and storage of goods, inventory management, and claims.
  • Oversee outbound activities related to order management and stock replenishment.
  • Manage workforce planning, staffing allocation, onboarding training, overtime control, and cross-training to support fluctuating volume.
  • Ensure timely and complete documentation for inbound and outbound transactions, shipping pictures, and chain-of-custody records.
  • Ensure timely and accurate Enterprise Resource Planning transactions using handheld or mobile devices and train the team to maintain transactional discipline.
  • Prepare required reports and provide detailed analysis of warehouse operations.
  • Maintain the vendor evaluation program for vendor receiving and report on quality.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and productivity levels and maintain the employee evaluation program for the quality and quantity of work performed.
  • Identify, document, and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Develop the strategic vision and roadmap for all warehouse functions, document requirements, and work with Information Technology personnel on warehouse management information system software.
  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling them with Warehouse Management and LN Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
  • Oversee LN Enterprise Resource Planning transaction performance and accuracy and train employees in LN Enterprise Resource Planning transactions.
  • Manage the work-order kitting process for production and job-site kitting, ensuring on-time delivery, kit-content accuracy, and complete documentation.
  • Perform department workload planning and prioritize activities.
  • Lead cycle-count program execution and ensure inventory-accuracy key performance indicators are achieved across all warehouse locations.
  • Oversee yard material management, traceability, and weather-protection compliance for structural and pipe inventory.
  • Support Procurement and Planning by resolving receiving discrepancies and blocked-inventory issues.
  • Implement standard operating procedures, 5S and housekeeping standards, and visual workplace tools.
  • Drive continuous-improvement projects that improve efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance quality performance.
  • Represent the warehouse team in cross-functional meetings and planning sessions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by TAS.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Military training and/or extensive relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Two to three years of previous supervisory experience.
  • Warehouse experience in an industrial fabrication environment.
  • Knowledge of industrial fabrication materials and services.
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management certification.

Both segments showed strong backlogs: Mechanical reached $10.06 billion and Electrical $4 billion, each up roughly 73% year-over-year.
