- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
- At least 3 years of industry experience in advanced software development in a team environment
- Programming experience in C++ and/or Java programming languages
- Experience using one or more development tools
- Experience writing algorithmic code, including complexity analysis, performance optimization, and multithreading
- Ability to communicate design concepts and performance metrics clearly
- U.S. Citizenship is required; successful candidates will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Design and develop algorithms, simulations, and visualization tools for autonomous robotics
- Engage in the full software process from concept to design and demonstration
- Lead dynamic project teams and integrate innovative ideas from various fields
- Write maintainable and extensible code
- Contribute to solving challenging robotics problems and see ideas control robots in demanding environments
- Collaborate with team to tackle critical robotics challenges
- Advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, applied mathematics, or related field
- Experience using Robotic Operating System (ROS) or its equivalent
- Active Security Clearance
- Experience in Probability/Statistics, Linear Algebra, Multivariate Calculus
- Experience in advanced algorithm integration and/or data analytics applications
- Experience with additional programming languages
- Experience designing and implementing user interfaces
- Experience in software validation and testing
