Requirements
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record for the past three years are required.
  • The candidate must be able to perform physical labor, lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders and scaffolding, work at heights up to 60 feet, work in confined spaces, and navigate ducts, crawl spaces, and ceilings.
  • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is required.
  • Basic communication skills are required to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in installing security and low-voltage systems by pulling wire and wiring devices such as access control, closed-circuit television, and intrusion systems.
  • Perform basic wiring tasks while ensuring proper connections and compliance with safety standards.
  • Carry and move equipment and tools required for installation.
  • Prepare installation sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and other necessary equipment.
  • Work closely with senior technicians and other trades on-site to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Complete paperwork related to the installation process, including timesheets and job status reports.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve security-systems installation skills and knowledge.
Desired Qualifications
  • Industry experience working with access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems.
  • Experience with DoorKing access systems, Hikvision, Hanawa cameras, and Keyscan access systems.
