  • CPA certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related studies
  • 10+ years in accounting with autonomous leadership role
  • 3+ years experience in leading revenue accounting and billing teams
  • Experience with Netsuite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated spirit with strong strategic skills
  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion
Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee revenue accounting, billing, and collections functions
  • Establish a long-term vision for the order-to-cash process
  • Serve as the accounting subject matter expert for technical revenue recognition matters
  • Implement and document controls and processes around the entire quote-to-cash process
  • Effectively manage and analyze large volumes of data for efficient accounting processes
  • Manage commissions in line with ASC 340 and maintain CECL compliance
  • Design and manage the company's credit risk policies and collection procedures
  • Strive to make invoicing a positive experience for customers
  • Serve as a liaison with external auditors on accounting and reporting matters
  • Work cross-functionally with go-to-market systems, sales operations, and professional services teams
  • Manage a team of 6 reports and provide leadership, guidance, and support
  • Build a culture of ownership, process improvement, customer obsession, and career growth
