Requirements
  • Certified Dietary Manager certification is required.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the daily operations of the Dietary Department.
  • Ensure meals are prepared and served according to physician-ordered diets and approved menus.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local dietary, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
  • Oversee food preparation, meal service, sanitation, and quality assurance.
  • Train, mentor, and support dietary staff while promoting teamwork and accountability.
  • Monitor food temperatures, sanitation procedures, and infection control practices.
  • Assist with menu implementation, inventory management, purchasing, and cost control.
  • Collaborate with nursing, administration, and the interdisciplinary care team to meet residents' nutritional needs.
  • Participate in state survey readiness and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Maintain accurate department records and documentation.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility, post-acute care, rehabilitation center, or healthcare dietary department is preferred.
  • Higher compensation may be considered for highly experienced candidates who are available to work every weekend.

PACS Group acquires Alaska care facility, plans 150-bed skilled nursing centre by 2028

PACS Group appoints Carey Hendrickson as chief financial officer

PACS Group has appointed Carey P. Hendrickson as chief financial officer, effective 27 April 2026. Hendrickson brings nearly four decades of financial leadership across healthcare, senior living and media sectors. Most recently, Hendrickson served as CFO of U.S. Physical Therapy, overseeing 779 outpatient clinics across 44 states. He previously held CFO roles at Capital Senior Living Corporation, managing 128 communities across 23 states, and Belo Corp. He succeeds Mark Hancock, PACS's co-founder and executive vice chairman, who will retire by 30 June 2026 whilst remaining on the board as vice chairman. PACS operates over 320 post-acute care and senior living facilities across 17 states, serving more than 31,700 patients daily.

PACS Group has announced that co-founder and chief financial officer Mark Hancock will retire on 30 June 2026. He will continue serving on the company's board of directors as vice chairman. Hancock co-founded PACS in 2013 with Jason Murray, starting with two post-acute care facilities in San Diego. Under his leadership, the company expanded to 323 facilities across 17 states, serving over 31,700 patients daily and generating $5.29 billion in revenue in 2025, representing 29.3% year-on-year growth. Hancock guided PACS through its successful initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange in April 2024 and served as interim CFO from September 2025. He will be succeeded by Carey P. PACS Group, a leading post-acute healthcare platform, has appointed Dr Patrick Conway to its board of directors. Dr Conway currently serves as CEO of Optum, UnitedHealth Group's health services division with revenues exceeding $200 billion.
