Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience developing training, instructional, educational, or business process documentation.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Training & Development, Education, Communications, Organizational Development, Technical Writing, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, engaging learning content.
  • Experience collaborating with Subject Matter Experts and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication, editing, project organization, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools.
  • Ability to remain seated and work at a computer workstation for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally move, transport, or set up training materials and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to occasionally travel between office, training, and operational locations as needed to support content development and training activities.
  • Occasional visits to industrial, commercial, or construction environments require the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
Responsibilities
  • Develop training content using approved learning objectives, outlines, and Learning and Development standards.
  • Create and maintain instructor-led training, virtual training, eLearning modules, videos, job aids, assessments, and reference materials.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to gather, validate, and organize technical and operational knowledge.
  • Ensure all learning materials meet quality, branding, formatting, and instructional design standards.
  • Support multimedia content creation, including graphics, videos, simulations, and interactive learning components.
  • Maintain content libraries, templates, documentation, and version control processes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to learning content and training effectiveness.
  • Partner with operational leaders, Safety, Human Resources, and other stakeholders to support strategic training initiatives.
  • Use a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment frequently.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing with employees, leaders, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems, eLearning development, multimedia content creation, and adult learning principles.
  • Bilingual ability in English and Spanish.
