We are looking for an experienced Senior Stock Manager with awesome people skills and a keen eye for detail. The role will be broad and varied and will evolve over time. This role is central to the smooth running of the business as you will be managing our forward and reverse logistics of all our exciting tech. The scope of this role covers the end-to-end journey of assets, forecasting, procurement of consumables, supplier relationship.
This role is remote, but will require frequent travel to Slough and Brighton.
What you’ll do
- You will build and maintain excellent working relationships with third-party manufacturers and asset owners
- You will create and maintain forecasting models across our tech range
- You will manage 3rd party performance to ensure they meet the demands of our business
- You will manage a team to deliver the strategic goals
- Negotiate with and influence people at different organisational levels
- Drive to deliver outcomes and work independently
- Travel across the UK to build relationships face to face with key partners
What you’ll need
- You’ll have experience managing and maintaining stock forecasts
- You’ll be able to demonstrate previous Senior stock management experience in the Utilities Industry
- You’ll be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with third parties
- You’ll have excellent negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to operate with impact at different organisational levels
- It is essential that you have a UK Driving Licence to travel across the UK (we supply the car!)
- You’ll be a self-starter and the sort of person who thrives in an entrepreneurial culture, willing to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in
