Requirements
  • 1 year experience preferred in CT
  • Must be registered in XRAY
  • Current ARRT(R)
  • Current South Carolina Certification
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Excellent customer service skills

  • CT, general Radiology, Fluoroscopy, OR and Portables
  • Education: Associates Degree or equivalent
  • Work Experience: 2-4 years
  • Graduate of an AMA approved school or training program, a 24-month approved School of Radiologic Technology, or other approved training (i.e. Military)
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists
  • Licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
Responsibilities
  • Performs high quality Radiology and CT/XRAY examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from neonate through geriatrics for interpretation by a physician
  • Operates imaging equipment: Radiology and CT or Xray, following radiation safety guidelines based on hospital policy and regulatory requirements
  • Provides radiographic support for all areas of the Hospital as needed
  • Position patients accurately for specific anatomic imaging using appropriate immobilization devices when required
  • Avoids excessive repeated examinations by following guidelines
