  • At least 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalency.
  • Able to pass Basic Skills Test, Multi-Craft Aptitude Test, Color Identification Test and Drug Screen.
Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair security systems in compliance with Department of State regulations and contract requirements.
  • Install conduit installation, including both electrical metallic tubing (EMT) and rigid Conduit pipe (RGS), to facilitate the wiring. Performed under the supervision of a Journeyman level electrician.
  • Utilize power tools and equipment, including drills, saws, and conduit benders, to complete installation tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Operate man lifts and other aerial equipment as needed to access installation locations at varying heights.
  • Learn to read and interpret schematics, and electrical drawings to plan and execute installations accurately.
Desired Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess the ability to obtain and/or maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to pass and maintain a yearly medical clearance for overseas work.
  • Experience in conduit installation, including EMT and rigid pipe, as well as conduit bending techniques.
  • Experience using power tools and equipment commonly used in electrical installations.
  • Learn to read and interpret schematics and electrical drawings accurately.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor, particularly when working in sensitive government facilities.
