  • Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • 15+ years’ experience in power systems and electronics or a combined equivalent of education and experience
  • Experience leading technical teams, 20 or more people
  • Experience in Life Support Systems or other Criticality 1 development and testing of hardware and software
  • Prior experience in formal test and verification activities including EMI/EMC and power quality
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position
Responsibilities
  • Supervising engineers and/or technical staff members
  • Providing technical guidance to the group
  • Conducting goal setting and performance appraisals of personnel
  • Incorporating reliability analysis and promoting optimum use of development tools and standards during the design process
  • Managing outside consultants in developing solutions and coordinating project design and milestone reviews
  • Supporting milestone reviews such as PDR, CDR, and SDR
  • Performing other duties as assigned
