Our mission is to improve the health of underserved communities. Importantly, our solutions are designed specifically for Medicaid and lower-income Medicare beneficiaries, and we meet our members where they are, bringing care into the home and neighborhoods through our community-based care teams and Virtual Care offerings.

About the Role:

This role will support the marketing, creative and engagement teams in creating and writing materials for our members, providers, partners as well as internal Cityblock communications when needed. 

Responsibilities include:

• Own or support marketing and engagement projects in writing letters, mailers, website, social media, digital, and video.
• Own or support communication asks from central marketing and engagement team as well as individual markets.

You will collaborate closely with:

• members of the design and creative team.
• marketing and engagement teams.
• web team for all cityblock.com needs.
• outside vendors or contractors on an as-needed basis.

Requirements for the Role:

• HS Diploma, BFA preferred but not required.
• 5+ years experience in copywriting
• Expertise in writing marketing materials for print, social media, digital channels and video. Portfolio should demonstrate a strong sense of empathy and humanity.
• Experience in medical writing and health literacy preferred
• Ability to follow a brand tone and voice 
• Bilingual -English/Spanish a plus

We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company’s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The expected salary range for this position is $64,080 to $85,000 The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.
