Lead Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Quality Assurance to join our Patent Maintenance & Annuity Services Teamsin Noida. We have a great skill set in Automation testing and QA expertise and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in Web application testing, API testing, Performance testing, test automation and architecting frameworks experience. ​

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering

• 5 Years of Relevant Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in REST API  automation Design and Development  

• At least 2 years of experience with Automation Framework  

• Experience with GUI, Web testing , API testing

• Experience with Java/Python

• Experience of working within an Agile delivery environment.  

• Understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Continuous Deployment  

• Experience working with various test development and test management tools.  

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to new technologies  

It would be great if you also have

• Should have knowledge and experience in REST API Automation and testing(Rest Assured framework)  

• Should have worked on Performance testing tools like Jmeter  

• Should be able to design the frameworks using Java or python-based frameworks

• Should be able to understand execute Security testing

What will you be doing in this role? 

• Lead QA Squad/Modules by helping assign work and being point of contact for QA team. 

• Assist in creating framework for automation.  

• Interact with POs/Customers/BAs for requirement understanding and refinement. 

• Provide test plans or test strategy in addition to designing and executing complex automated tests. 

• Independently identify risk and develop and implement mitigation plans. 

• Provide test plans and/or test strategy when needed.  

• Estimate QA effort for epics/releases. 

• Suggest possible process improvements for squad/modules.

• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of API or UI tests  

• Writes quality, well-tested, documented code.  

• Adheres to development best practices and standards as set within the team.  

• Helps support existing systems, diagnosing issues and identifying bugs.  

• Work closely with developers to improve testability of our mobile applications  

• Works closely with QA, DevOps, Product Owners, Business Analysts and Project Management.  

• Adheres to Agile development practices and aid the team in doing so

About the Team   

Team has 40+ QA team members in various services products in India and Belgrade. Comprising the strong technical team members with manual and automation proficiency in various tools like Selenium, Cypress, Plawrite for automating UI and APIs.

Hours of Work  

40 hrs a week with standard general shift hrs
