Realtime Robotics names Kevin Carlin Chief Executive Officer to lead company's next phase of growth.

Realtime Robotics names Kevin Carlin Chief Executive Officer to lead company's next phase of growth. * 1 hr ago Realtime Robotics, the leader in industrial AI for automated robot system design and deployment, today announced that Kevin Carlin has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Carlin succeeds Co-founder Peter Howard, who continues as non-executive Chairman of the Board. The appointment comes as Realtime Robotics sees accelerating adoption of its Resolver platform among a growing number of top global automakers. OEMs are increasingly turning to AI-driven automation to reduce vehicle development timelines, better manage production complexity, and gain an advantage in an aggressively competitive market. That momentum, paired with substantial growth in headcount and continued advancement of Resolver's capabilities, has firmly positioned the company to seize emerging opportunities and scale. Representatives of the Hillsborough Law Now campaign react to the law's passing "Realtime Robotics has reached the moment every deep-tech company works toward: proof that the world's most demanding manufacturers need - and want - what we've built," said Howard. "Kevin has been instrumental in building the customer relationships and commercial engine behind that success. He has the experience and the instincts to drive the company from this inflection point into rapid growth, and I'm confident he's the right leader to take us there." Carlin brings more than two decades of international leadership in semiconductors, industrial automation, and AI to the role. He joined Realtime Robotics in 2022 as Chief Commercial Officer and was promoted to President and Chief Commercial Officer in 2025. Prior to Realtime Robotics, Carlin spent more than 13 years at Analog Devices, where he most recently built an internal startup focused on AI- and machine learning-driven sensing and analytics. He also held senior leadership roles across the company's Automation & Energy Group and Industrial Automation business. "Peter has spent years building this company into what it is today, and the trust he's placed in me to lead its next chapter means everything," said Carlin. "Now our job is to scale that impact by deepening our relationships with automotive OEMs and their production ecosystems, and delivering the results customers and stakeholders expect from a company entering its growth phase. I'm energized by what's ahead and grateful that Peter will continue to help guide us as Chairman. Automotive is just the beginning. The same challenges we're solving for OEMs exist across other high-complexity manufacturing sectors, and we intend to be the platform those industries turn to as well." Realtime Robotics' Resolver platform automates and optimizes the most complex aspects of factory planning and robot system design and deployment. By allowing engineers to evaluate, simulate, and optimize manufacturing decisions earlier in the product and process development lifecycle, Resolver helps manufacturers reduce engineering bottlenecks, accelerate program launches, and respond faster to changing production demands - capabilities that have fueled the company's growing traction with global automotive manufacturers since its commercial launch last year. About Realtime Robotics Realtime Robotics is the leader in industrial AI for automated robot system design and deployment. The company helps the world's largest manufacturers plan, launch, and run production lines with greater speed, confidence, and flexibility, turning what was once a slow, high-risk process into a fast, predictable path from concept to production. That means faster product launches, fewer costly surprises on the factory floor, and the agility to adapt as market demands change. Realtime Robotics launches Resolver cloud design platform for Japan at iREX 2025

Realtime Robotics launches Resolver cloud design platform for japan at iREX 2025. December 3, 2025 by David Edwards Realtime Robotics, a specialist in automated collision-free motion planning, control, and optimization, has announced the official debut of Resolver in the Japanese market, the company's cloud-based solution that "dramatically accelerates" an organization's design, programming, and commissioning of robotic workcells, while decreasing its time-to-market. In addition, the company premiered new features and enhancements for Resolver at iREX 2025, streamlining the end-user experience and expanding the number and type of robot models that Resolver supports. Realtime Robotics will be hosting a live, interactive demo of the solution and its integrations with Siemens Process Simulate and Visual Components in booth W4-61. Peter Howard, CEO of Realtime Robotics, says: "There is a great deal of pressure on manufacturers to find a way to do more with less. They need to move faster, be more efficient, and more intelligent operationally in order to successfully compete on a global scale. "Our Resolver solution empowers manufacturers to quickly adapt and evolve their facilities and processes to keep pace with the speed of innovation, making changes and bringing products to market faster than ever before. We're excited for the Japanese market to see what Resolver can do."

Realtime Robotics to Debut Resolver for the Japanese Market at iREX 2025

Realtime Robotics to debut Resolver for the Japanese market at iREX 2025. BOSTON and TOKYO - iREX 2025 - December 3, 2025 - Realtime Robotics, the leader in automated collision-free motion planning, control, and optimization, today announced the official debut of Resolver in the Japanese market, the company's cloud-based solution that dramatically accelerates an organization's design, programming, and commissioning of robotic workcells, while decreasing its time-to-market. "There is a great deal of pressure on manufacturers to find a way to do more with less. They need to move faster, be more efficient, and more intelligent operationally in order to successfully compete on a global scale," said Peter Howard, CEO of Realtime Robotics. "Our Resolver solution empowers manufacturers to quickly adapt and evolve their facilities and processes to keep pace with the speed of innovation, making changes and bringing products to market faster than ever before. We're excited for the Japanese market to see what Resolver can do." Realtime Robotics' Resolver automates the most time- and labor-intensive parts of robotic workcell design. Since its launch earlier this year, Resolver has helped manufacturers speed up cycle times while decreasing the cost of deployment. The true power of Resolver, however, lies in its ability to positively change the factory design experience by solving complex problems. It has been engineered to have the flexibility to be applied to a variety of use cases, including the initial design and ongoing redesign of new robotic workcells and manufacturing lines, as well as handling multiple variants. With Resolver, an organization's overall costs are reduced while efficiency is improved. The new features announced today for Resolver include: * Expanded Support for FANUC Robots - Support for FANUC robots has been enhanced in Resolver, including the ability to use start distance/end distance (SD/ED) for approach and retreat parameters. A new characterization model and improved usability for robots with joint limits has been added as well. * Applying Working Limits - Resolver now gives users the option of applying working limits to both native robot joints and external joints. Previously, the solution would automatically apply the working limits to both native and external joints; now, the user experience is improved by enabling working limits to be applied to just the robot - not the tool at the end of the robot - reducing manual touch ups. * Enhanced User Interface - Resolver has improved the log in experience for end users, and now supports single-sign-on (SSO) options from Google and Microsoft. There is also an improved folder structure, making it easier to organize studies. * Additional Visual Components Support - Resolver has added support for Linear Statement types in Visual Components, making it even easier to use Resolver without having to leave the development environment you're working in. To learn more and see the interactive Resolver demo, please visit iREX booth W4-61 throughout the event, which is taking place from December 3-6, 2025 in Tokyo. About Realtime Robotics Realtime Robotics is the leader in automated collision-free motion planning, control, and optimization for industrial robots. The company's revolutionary technology dramatically accelerates the design and deployment of robotic workcells by solving for cycle-time optimized motions, interlocks, multi-robot coordination, real-time object detection and reaction, and robot task allocation.
