LucidLink provides cloud storage and real-time collaboration as a SaaS service. It lets remote teams access and stream files instantly from any object storage and on any OS, so projects feel like everyone is in the same room. Data is protected by a Zero-Knowledge model, meaning only the user can read their files. Unlike traditional storage that requires local downloads or hardware, LucidLink removes hardware needs and enables on-demand access, improving speed for creative teams such as video and design crews. The company differentiates itself with real-time streaming across platforms, broad OS support, and strong data privacy, targeting the growing demand for remote work. Its goal is to help teams work faster and more securely, growing through a subscription SaaS model, as evidenced by its $75M Series C funding and demonstrated time savings for clients.

XenData, a data storage solutions provider, has announced three products enhancing LucidLink functionality: Backup for LucidLink, Archive for LucidLink and Cloud-Connect for LucidLink. All three run on Windows platforms, typically cloud-based virtual machines. Backup for LucidLink synchronises content to separate storage locations including AWS, Azure, Seagate Lyve or Wasabi datacentres. Archive for LucidLink enables administrators to move files from LucidLink Filespaces to public cloud object storage, with a web portal displaying previews of archived video and image files. Cloud-Connect for LucidLink allows files from existing AWS and Azure object storage to be added to LucidLink Filespaces. The products will be demonstrated at NAB 2026 in Las Vegas from 19-22 April on XenData's booth.
LucidLink integrates with Frame.io, expands iOS Mobile app. LucidLink, maker of the file streaming platform of the same name, has integrated Frame.io and has expanded mobile capabilities, streamlining collaboration and helping creative teams move from idea to delivery faster. With the LucidLink integration for Frame.io, footage captured in the field streams directly into editing timelines without the need for uploading or downloading. The expanded iOS Mobile app, now featuring multi-file uploads and background transfers on iOS 26, extends these capabilities to iOS users. Modern creative teams have moved reviews and collaboration to the cloud, but editing workflows remain stuck in a download bottleneck. Editors wait hours to download footage before starting work, mobile captures sit in camera rolls until manually transferred, and some teams still ship physical hard drives to move large files. These delays add up across distributed teams working on tight deadlines. This year, LucidLink won an tecnnical Emmy for tackling this problem in television. The new Frame.io integration and mobile capabilities bring the same instant-access approach to creative teams working with video across industries, from advertising and marketing to design. Frame.io Integration The new LucidLink and Frame.io integration creates a mirror of selected Frame.io projects inside LucidLink, making media instantly editable in creative apps like Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. * Media uploaded through Frame.io's Camera-to-Cloud appears instantly in LucidLink. * Editors can cut directly in Premiere Pro or After Effects from a single, always-online source. * Producers keep governance and approvals in Frame.io. * Teams eliminate downloads, shipping physical hard drives, relinking and version drift. * Fewer handoffs and a smoother path from dailies to picture lock. The LucidLink and Frame.io integration will be included with LucidLink Business and Enterprise plans, with general availability targeted for Q1 of 2026. LucidLink Mobile Modern smartphones can record large 4K/60, HDR, and ProRes/Log files that are difficult to share through email or chat platforms. LucidLink has introduced LucidLink Mobile, which enables background multi-file uploads directly to a filespace, removing the need for intermediate copies or manual transfers. Editors can begin working with the footage as it uploads, reducing the delay between capture and post. New iOS capabilities complement LucidLink's existing support on Android devices. They include: * Multi-file uploads with background upload on iOS 26 * In-app previews * Permission-aware sharing * Core file operations
