Requirements
  • Significant work experience in baseband wireless modems, physical layer design, and implementation is required.
  • In depth understanding and hands-on experience in Layer 1
  • Strong expertise in developing and optimizing physical layer algorithms for wireless communication systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Proven track record with innovative problem solving and hands-on experience in design, development, testing, and evaluation of digital wireless systems.
  • Prior experience in developing Layer 1 software for NXP chipsets is highly desirable
  • Strong background in communication theory, digital signal processing, and wireless communication systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
  • Previous experience in wearable technology
  • Experience in wireless standards a significant (4G, 5G, 5G NR, LTE, etc.)
  • Programming/scripting skills in MATLAB, Python, C/C++ is a plus
  • Demonstrated skills in the design of communications simulation tools
  • Deep understanding of 3GPP physical layer protocol specification
  • Wearables experience
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement advanced physical layer algorithms for our wireless communication solutions (LEO Satellite networks).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of physical layer software/firmware with other system components.
  • Optimize the performance of the physical layer system by conducting in-depth analysis, debugging, and code optimization.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies to verify and validate the functionality and performance of the physical layer system.
  • Responsible for the design and planning of wireless radio communications systems.
