Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of purchasing and procurement experience (manufacturing, high mix precision machined / fabricated parts, and custom electronic boards / built for a manufacturing environment is a PLUS).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud, SAP or SAP Ariba).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Advanced in Excel with the ability to manage data with advanced formulas and functions.
  • Possess the ability to read and decipher prints, drawings, ECs.
Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day inventory planning for respective products.
  • Process Oracle MRP output, process Planned Orders in a timely manner to support demand.
  • Track work order shortages and expedite materials.
  • Reschedule and expedite production and service material PO’s to meet customer delivery goals.
  • Follow up on purchase orders, quotes for production material; prepare summary and price comparison documentation. Place purchase orders as needed for assigned commodities and suppliers.
  • Initiate and follow through on any supplier date changes and work through appropriate channels to resolve issues and get material delivered on time.
  • Assist and facilitate the prompt disposition of non-conforming materials from assigned commodities.
  • Communicate supplier performance, particularly On Time Delivery and Quality, including supplier visits as required.
