Requirements
  • Ability to perform field testing and measurement of materials, components, and products in outdoor environments.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, scales, gauges, etc. to record accurate dimensional and performance data.
  • Ability to follow established testing procedures, safety standards, and quality protocols.
  • Proficiency in data entry, organization, and basic analysis using Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions.
Responsibilities
  • Perform field testing and measurement of materials, components, and equipment in outdoor environments.
  • Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, scales, gauges, etc.) to record accurate dimensional and performance data.
  • Follow established testing procedures, safety standards, and quality protocols.
  • Collect, document, and organize field data in Microsoft Excel.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets for tracking measurements, test results, and trends.
  • Conduct basic data analysis, including formulas, charts, pivot tables, and summary reporting.
  • Identify inconsistencies, deviations, or material defects and report findings to supervisors or engineers.
  • Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper calibration and functionality.
  • Assist in preparing detailed test reports and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and operations teams.
  • Travel to outdoor test sites as required
