Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working for the Department of Defense
  • Experience with the USMC Force Management Tool (FMT)
  • Knowledge of the GFM process
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with senior military and civilian leaders
  • Ability to help manage multi-stakeholder forums and capture key outputs for senior leaders
  • Ability to work independently and collate disparate information to create project plans
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Experience working on a joint staff
  • Experience entering Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD) into the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES)
  • Experience drafting materials for senior executive leadership and talking points for a general officer staff and headquarters
  • Knowledge of the Force Deployment Planning and Execution (FDP&E) process
  • Bachelor's degree
