Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in either place design - Interior Design / Architecture / Facility Design – or social sciences – Psychology/Sociology/Anthropology.
  • 6+ years of experience in workplace strategy, interior design, facility management, or research/consulting services related to place design.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Responsibilities
  • Engages key stakeholders at MillerKnoll accounts in consultative conversations, asking questions to identify the aspirations and anxieties that organizations face in creating new spaces.
  • Possesses deep expertise in MillerKnoll’s body of research and is able to conversationally share relevant insights with customers and recommend insight-driven strategy and design solutions.
  • Connects insights and design strategies with customers' business objectives, advising customers on how to use their space more effectively to positively impact their organization.
  • Coordinates with sales leaders and sellers to align sales objectives and account plans with workplace design and strategy deliverables for client engagements.
  • Aligns with market influencers in the A&D and commercial real estate communities to support customers in a collaborative approach.
  • Speaks at regional industry and business events to share MillerKnoll insights and/or co-present customer case studies.
  • Facilitates client/influencer round tables and focus groups in concert with Customer Research to uncover needs and identify trends.
  • Collaborates with GRP Design Strategists and Strategic Response team to help move customers from high-level strategic/conceptual design to more specific product recommendations and RFP responses.
  • Participates as a collaborative member of the Global Research & Planning team to provide market feedback, support other Strategists, inform Customer Research, and test new insight messaging in the market.
